My Favorite book

Hi there,


At the moment my fav book is Running wild by Michael morpurgo.  I think that he is a very talented writer. He uses a lot of description and so that makes the book very interesting. I tried to write a story like it, but it did not work very well 'cause running wild is a book that is about almost 2 inches thick. I like all of his books just as much but running wild really stands out 'cause of its description. I will list some of his books right here, OK? Friend or foe, twist of gold, Why the whales came, A elephant in the garden, Waiting for Anya, Kensukes kingdom and My friend walter.

Writing sample DONE! Kinda..

Hi (again), 

Writing sample is OVER!!!(nearly). We have not got our marks back get, so i don't know what mark i have. I so wish i could of had more time. The story was interesting but a little bit boring at the end.  It gave me a good idea for a new story about a volcanologist and his life when he was stranded in a volcano for 3 years. At the moment I am doing my narrative writing.

Writing Sample bits and pieces!

Hi (again),


This is a bit of my writing sample. I hope you like it!


The volcano shuddered, threatening to explode. Clouds of scalding hot steam issued from its blackened cone, charred by recent explosions. The volcano had been exploding for 2 to 3 weeks now, but those explosions had been small. This one was going to be different, we could all tell. me grandpa Jock and mum. we were on holiday in Samoa, staying in a local village, close to the second biggest volcano in the area. It had been sweltering hot, the temperture rising to 48c. Thats when the volcano started acting strangely. . .

Writing Sample

Hi, i am back!


This week we are writing our writing sample. Mine is about a volcano ready to explode. I hope I        
get good marks so I am aiming for a 3a. It is due on friday but I am going skiing so I had to finish today. I am crossing my fingers that I will get good marks. I am finding it fun and easy-ish. Oh gosh, see look i am crossing my fingers right here!

Hi, i'm Brooke,


I am 10 years old(year 6) and i have heaps of cool friends here at berhampore school. I have 2 brothers that are both anyoing(of course) that drive me up the wall but still, they are pretty cool(some times...) Some of my friends are Asha,Piata and Sarah. There is a new girl at school and she is really nice! Her name is Mira and she just arived today. School is so cool here! My teachers names are Richard and Carly and they are totally awesome!!! I get lots of lessons each day and everyone of them are the coolest lessons ever. At the moment we are doing writing sample and I am writing a bout a volcano ready to explode!
